This might be of interest to Flickr Pro subscribers …
I’ve been thinking of not renewing my Flickr Pro subscription, but two things have changed the way I’m thinking.
Firstly, and most importantly for me with my websites, it appears that the best way of embedding an image, but more importantly an album, in a WordPress post is Flickr Embed. This is far better than Google Photos, and Apple Photos don’t even provide an easy route.
Secondly, and this is what might be of interest to any one with a Pro subscription (Jim, Michael, Jeremy, Yvonne, Andrew, Michael, Patrizia et al) the renewal price for my subscription is shown at a discounted price today – £79.80 for two years rather than £114. I’ve sent an enquiry to Flickr asking whether this is a price that dates from my renewal date (November 6th), or whether the renewal date (and reduced price) dates from effectively today – resetting the renewal date. I await a reply, but if it’s an extension price it’s a really good deal.
